As part of efforts to mitigate the impact of climate change, young farmers in Mzuzu have started adopting climate-smart agricultural practices. Supported by the Ministry of Agriculture and an international NGO, these farmers are now using techniques such as conservation tillage and drought-resistant crops to boost productivity while preserving the environment. The program has so far trained 150 young farmers and hopes to expand to neighboring regions in the coming year.
